Multimedia is the field concerned with the computer
controlled integration of text, graphics, drawings, still and moving images (Video), animation, audio, and any other media where every type of information can be represented, stored, transmitted and processed digitally.
The purpose of the course is to introduce the students to the basics of multimedia presentations and multimedia applications development. It provides a theoretical foundation for the human communication and computer science principles that underlie successful multimedia.
After attending the course, the student will be understand the needs and structure of multimedia applications, will be familiar with the main technologies used for developing multimedia content and will be aware of the social and legal consequences in the field.

– project for producing a multimedia presentation of the proposed informational design
